The one and only Dave Egerton Band are playing on December 12th at the LMRCA Social Club, Navigation Road, Altrincham right next to Navigation Road station. Tickets are an unbelievable £5.00. Yes £5.00! That’s a mere twenty pence per instrument! What’s more you can even pay on the door. You know you’d never forgive yourself if you miss it. Doors open at 7.00 pm.

Sorry - but the best gig on December 12th is in Warrington - the Kate Rusby Christmas tour. Good music and the Christian message in the carols. What more could you want?

Would definitely do both these given half a chance. Heard Rusby live three times now (Underneath the Stars with members of Grimethorpe Colliery Band was sooooo beautiful) Been wanting to catch Karine Polwart for ages now but she's rarely in this area. Now that she is it would just have to clash with a meeting I can't get out of! Shame, I reckon she's one the smartest lyricists around. Nice tunes too.
Having said all that, the DE band really are something else.
